It is deemed that anyone who books & pays for a Maxabelltent - either for themselves or on behalf of others - has read and is in agreement with the following terms & conditions

Privacy Policy

  • When you complete a booking enquiry, we collect your name, email address and phone number solely for customer service purposes. Your data is securely stored on our server and/or within our email software. We do not use your data or share your data for marketing unless you give explicit consent.

  • We ask for children’s ages to ensure suitability of facilities and to assign the correct bed sizes etc.

Terms & Conditions

Booking with us :

  • £50 damage deposit is required on top of the booking fee.The deposit will be returned within 21 days of departure minus deductions if applicable which will be fully itemised

  • A minimum of 2 nights per booking is required with the exception of Bank Holidays when a minimum of 3 nights is required

  • Additional nights beyond the minimum requirement vary in cost. Refer to individual package pricing

  • We require a minimum booking of 5 x tents for distances beyond local campsites. Delivery and collection fee and campsite charges will apply

  • Guests agree, for themselves and on behalf of the other occupants of the tent they have booked:

    - Not to use any heating, cooking, gas appliances or any fire with the exception of the provided tea-light candles contained inside the lanterns, inside the tent

    - When the tent is unoccupied (especially upon departure), to keep it closed, dry and secure and in particular to close any door fastenings

    - Not to tamper with the structure or any part of the equipment and not to affix or suspend any item from the tent.

    - No smoking is permitted inside the tent

    - Tents should be left in a clean and tidy condition

  • Should a booking error occur on the part of the customer:

    - paid for incorrect package (i.e. without bed or bedding)

    - arrived without completing a booking

    An out of hours fee will be charged in addition to the cost of required package.

    - Delivery of additional goods £20

    - Tent set up £75

    Cancellation & Refunds

  • Guests may cancel by clear notice in writing at anytime prior to the booked check-in date. We will refund booking fees based on the length of notice of cancellation.

    30 days notice or longer - 90% refunded

    15 - 29 days notice - 50% refunded

    14 days or less notice - no refund

  • In the unfortunate event that the campsite/venue or Maxabelltent have to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances of any kind, including extreme weather, we will offer you a different date with the same package, amount of guests & equipment. We have no control over varying factors but we will always assess the situation thoroughly for the safety of our guests. We are not obliged to offer you a full refund but will, however, offer you the opportunity to re-book at a date of your choosing (subject to availability), that is, unless the tents have already been erected, in which case the booking is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please insure you have travel insurance to cover this eventually.

    Pandemic / Lockdown

  • If your event is unable to go ahead due to a national lockdown and you do not wish to change the date then we offer a refund minus 20% of the total cost of the booking. This does not apply to cancellations that are not affected by a national lockdown or similar.

    Packages / Contents

  • Our standard pricing and set package varieties do not apply for festivals

  • All festival bookings will be dealt with us directly. Various items in some of the packages are not festival friendly and therefore we have to adapt our tents to the legal requirements of the event we are working with. For full terms and conditions regarding festival hire contact us

  • The person that has made the booking is wholly responsible for all of the tents and furnishings. If other guests at your event damage the goods we will not refund the full deposit

    Insurance

    The insurance provided by the company covers the equipment against: theft, vandalism, fire and explosion, storm and tempest. The risk for any exclusions under the company’s insurance passes to the hirer on delivery of the equipment.

    Liability to Third Party

    The company will not be responsible for and the hirer will indemnify the company against all claims for the injury to persons or loss or damage to property caused during the hirer’s use of the equipment unless it be proved that such injury or damage was caused by negligence of the company

    Erection & Dismantling

  • The company is responsible for the erection and dismantling and the cost thereof is included in the hire charges. The company does not give permission or allow the hirer to erect and/or dismantle the company’s property. The company accepts no liability for any personal injury or damage to any persons or property suffered from erecting and / or dismantling the company’s property against their wishes.
